Brown Box Movers went above and beyond to help me move my heavy stuff to my new house! They did everything so quickly (within the 2 hours I was paying for), and they even had time to take apart my son's bed to move it, and they put it back together at the new house. I really appreciated that, especially because I was so tired from trying to get ready to move, and it was so nice for my son to have his bed on our first night in the new house . We had BBM move two very heavy pieces of furniture in our home. They had to move them up and down stairs with tight turns and it was a really tough job. The guys did fantastic! There was very minor damage to a wall and one of the pieces of furniture. The spots were easily repaired. I would definitely recommend to anyone needing a moving company!

Stephen and his team moved my wife and I about 2 weeks ago. They helped us put a lot of boxes in storage and even reassembled our bed for us. Great guys, worked quickly, and all of our things were transported without any damage.

I was extremely happy with the loading of our POD for shipment to South Carolina. The guys were extremely good at packing it tight to prevent shifting. I could not believe how much they were able to put in the container. The only thing I was not absolutely satisfied with was the Junk haul off. We were not allowed to empty some of the junk items out of our plastic boxes that we were going to use for some very heavy duty items that we were transporting ourselves. So therefore we had to go out and buy more. I don't remember being told that all junk had to be boxed. Otherwise everything was great. V.Jones

I moved on Sunday February 25th. When I called to schedule the move I advised that I had been quoted a flat rate of $800+. The person I spoke with thought an hourly rate would be better based on the contents of my move. Move day finally arrived. Burt and the guys arrived. They came in to access the move/contents. They got started and worked really quickly. We even had to make a stop at a storage facility for them to get more of our stuff. The loaded and unloaded everything in less than 4 hours. Nothing was broken, scratched or dented. Great job "Brown Box Movers"!

I am not a person who likes to write reviews, but they inspire me to say that they fulfilled my expectations from the beginning to the end. I solicited moving quotes via email from a couple of companies and they were the first to reply with a reasonable price. Also a follow up call. I moved a queen bed with an adjustable base, chairs and many boxes from a single story home to a ground floor apartment. They called ahead like they said they would. They were very courteous, careful and moved fast. I was not so happy paying upfront for a service, but it was worth it! I recommend the company 100%. I will use their services next time I move.

The guys were on time and did make a courtesy call to let me know they were in traffic. They went right to work when they got to my place. Very friendly, very professional and worked nonstop. They took care to wrap my furniture for protection, carefully moved it all around corners, put my bed back together, plugged in my washer and dryer, and even made sure the furniture was where I wanted it and that all boxes I wanted were inside (I moved from one apartment to another), offering to move anything else around or to "lug" up anything else from the garage to the upstairs apartment. I highly recommend this moving service. The 3 men I had were Steven, David and Jarrod (unsure of spelling) and told my mother, who is moving in March, to ask for those 3 men, which she requested and Brown Box movers was more than happy to do so. I was/am 100% satisfied.

Needed some furniture moved, they called ahead of coming, let me know they were 20 minutes out, exactly in the middle of their arrival window, showed up, introduced themselves, very friendly and professional. I hired Brown Box movers to unload a uhaul full of my daughter and son-in-law's 3 bedroom household belongings as they just moved to the metroplex. I cannot say enough about this company. They handled my call quickly and professionally as well as followed up with an email. I was very impressed they called two days prior to the move to confirm. The day of the move, the driver was very prompt in communicating his ETA and when they arrived, they were ready to work. Brandon, Courtney and Adam B. were the guys who worked our move. All three of them were very polite, friendly, professional, and worked hard. I have hired a fair number of movers in the last few years due to my husband and I moving as well as our other daughter. Brown Box movers was by far the best and very reasonably priced. I highly recommend!

They went the extra mile and assisted us with not only packing but unpacking. This made all the difference. They cleaned up and hauled off all the excess boxes. They were perfect. They worked hard every minute to get a big move with oversized furinture done in a day. I couldn't have done it better myself and I am a control freak. Not one thing was damaged and we moved oversized, heavy, and rare antiques.

We had a 16ft truck to unpack that we moved here from Albuquerque, and they got that thing done fast! We had a fantastic experience, they even were able to come out the next day after we called them (we were driving from ABQ to Denton when we called), which was amazing. Several other moving companies in Denton were not able to accommodate us and did not sound like they wanted our business anyway. Great job guys!! Careful job packing and loading storage pod. Took extra care to ensure that load wouldn't shift. Packers missed a few drawers in packing but that was remedied quickly when the loaders came. Strongly recommend.

They called before they came, arrived and we're amazingly pleasant. I showed them the stuff to pack since it was only my stuff and not that of my roommates. They worked on moving and I continued to pack. The entire time they were light hearted, answered any questions, and a pleasure to work with. After they moved everything out, they helped me pack the few empty boxes I had left with the stuff I just didn't have time to get to. My elderly parents were wanting to move from one apartment to another, main problem is they don't need to be trying to pack and move, I'm the closest relative and my wife and I are both disabled, so we started looking for someone to help us through this evolution. After getting a couple quotes is was becoming obvious who we wanted to do the job Brown Box Movers did not only have the best quote, they also provided dates and times for everything associated with the move, and even better were on time for the entire process. After the move was completed and my folks were trying to fit things into their new digs, some of the furniture wasn't where they wanted it, I contacted Brown Box Movers and Lindsey said she would send the guys back over to assist with moving the pieces of furniture. After thinking things were going to work out and everything was settling in, my Mom called me and said she was unable to find the shelves to the TV stand, I gave her the number to Brown Box Movers and once again the guys came over and helped my Mom locate the elusive shelves! And there was no additional charges for either one of the revisits! The company called me the day before to confirm and the movers called me in the morning when they were on their way. When they showed up, they got right to work and were even under the 2 hour mark (I didn't have too much.) They had blankets, wrap and whatever needed to protect my items. I just had them move my 90 year old mother. They showed up right on time, were very friendly and professional and got the job done quickly. It took a little over 2 and 1/2 hours but they prorated back to the 1/2 hour. They didn't try to get an extra 1/4 hour out of me. Very good job.

The team was great. They each individually introduced themselves to me. They always said "yes sir" when responding. They had a plan for how to put everything in to maximize space but also make sure nothing was broken. Also, they gave me options for unloading to either save time (money) or make it easy on me by placing things exactly where I wanted it. We have to move another house in a few weeks, and we have already set up the move with BB.

These guys are the BEST movers we have ever used! They're affordable, efficient, and made our move stress-free. We have 3 kids (5 years old and under) and one on the way so we definitely needed help getting everything moved. Needing help with unloading a uhaul truck coming from Houston to Denton, we enlisted the help of Brown Box Movers. Even with traffic issues, Lindsey helped us with timing and scheduling all along the way. Bert, Matt and Dayton met us upon arrival at our destination in 100 degree weather to unload our shipment. I received a phone call alerting me that they were on there way. The movers arrived when they said they would and got started right away. Doorways and stairways were wrapped. Blankets were placed in outside doorways since it was raining. These movers worked for 10.5 hours with only a few short breaks. This was a big move and they never complained one time. Their attitudes were cheerful and respectful. I was alerted when I had items that were already broken so that I would be aware. However, I did have 2 pieces break during the move that I wasn't alerted to. I found them broken after I began to decorate. These were items not boxed - a lamp and a base to a decorative piece. All in all, my experience was awesome. I would use them again.

I have moved a few times and I have to admit these guys have done the best job of any moving company I have ever hired. They took good care of our stuff while being efficient about it. The Brown Box Movers crew (Wayne, Jordan, and Zac) was AWESOME! They arrived on time and conducted themselves in a professional way from start to finish. The team lead walked me through the basic paperwork and then the team got to work. They handled my furnishings with care while working quickly and making it look effortless. This team was friendly and even helped me pack a few items in my car! I would recommend this service to family or friends and use them again for my next move. It started with the opening greet. They stepped forward, introduced themselves with a smile. Stephen was in charge. Adam and Justin followed his lead. Stephen made an opening sweep to survey the moving task. He quickly issued instructions to Adam and Justin who set about executing the prepping and transport of furniture to the truck. Stephen managed the load. We were quickly, flawlessly loaded and underway to the destination house. Again, a quick sweep of the house by Stephen to get the sense of doorways and entry points. Quick clear instructions to Adam and Justin and possessions were flowing from the truck. Stephen participated in the unloading and transport. In a flash the off load was completed without damage to possessions on house structure. We were exceedingly pleased. I think it is a tribute to great service when a customer clearly remembers names and personalities of the moving staff. I will recommend without hesitation.

Second time I've used Brown Box in the last year. Last time, I was moving into a 3rd story apartment; this time moving out of the 3rd story. The price is on par with renting my own truck and paying for my own gas, but these guys are w-a-y faster, and I don't have to inconvenience my friends of do any of the hauling! I'm happy to recommend them at any time, and will use them for any future moving needs.

We hired a 20' truck with three guys for our move. We were consolidating from having stuff in two locations to a single third location. Lindsey was great working on getting my appointment set up and answering any questions via email since I was sick and couldn't talk on the phone. Moving day arrived and the guys (Gary, Jordan and Austin) were awesome. Double checked to make sure they were grabbing the right stuff when needed. Friendly and humorous when they could be. Fast and effective. Even helped move a treadmill into a different room when asked. So far in my unpacking not a single thing has been damaged. Would use Brown Box Movers again!

I have used Brown Box Movers for 3 moves in the past couple of years. All of their employees have been very professional and they do an excellent job with all aspects of our move. The workers seem to care where we want the boxes versus just throwing them in a room and being done as so many other moving companies do. The movers arrived on time and had me moved in about three and a half hours. I had 7 rooms worth of furniture and a garage full of storage. They did an excellent job with my possessions and were polite and very affordable. A+ job.

This was my first time using movers, and I'll never move any other way. Brown Box was significantly cheaper than others in the area, but there was no sacrifice in quality. The movers who helped me were professional and fast, and were very cautious with my things.

The guys did a great job today with our move and the entire crew had a clean appearance & great attitudes. It ended up taking a little longer than I thought, but they are the professionals. They even pad wrapped all my furniture for maximum protection. We will be using them again once we move out of storage and into our new home.

These gentlemen helped us get moved into our new house on a tight timeline... We were so impressed by how polite they were, but even more so the care they took with our furniture and our home. I needed a mover in a very short timeframe and was finding it next to impossible to find someone willing to do a small job quickly. That is, till I called Brown Box Movers. They responded to me late in the evening after getting my message and offered to try and fit me into their schedule, and the next morning I received a call back that they could help me out that same day. We hired two people with Brown Box to unload a full truck. They were courteous, capable, and considerate of the house and household items, and, to top it all off, they worked very fast. We can't recommend these guys enough.

They were professional, friendly, fast, on time and competitively priced. I needed to move a large rustic dining table and set of chairs I bought on Craig's List. They weren't cheap. but they were competitive compared to others I contacted with their minimum charge. They called and let me know when they would arrive. They wrapped the furniture well. My only criticism is that they did not email me the contract when they sent me the confirmation. I didn't know there would be terms other than our email exchange. I got their contract when we all arrived at the seller's address where the furniture was. It was 100 plus degrees. And the furniture was outside. Everything went well--but if it had gone south I have no idea what I signed--and they didn't provide me with a copy. Be fair and if you have a contract email it ahead of time so the consumer has a chance to review it.

I've moved several times, and my recent move with Brown Box was my best experience. The movers were friendly, professional, prompt, and hard-working. They took care of details that I forgot, such as a box that wasn't taped, and securing loose pins on shelf units. I have no complaints. The only issues were that there were a 3 minor scratches that occurred, which they pointed out to me. Also, they were unable to connect the dryer exhaust, but that was due to defects in the hose being that came from the previous location.

They moved all my stuff very quickly and we're done in the time frame that I had allotted. I even got my move done with sooner than planned because they were able to arrive at my old address early. Brown Box Movers were great from start to finish! They were on time, extremely friendly, polite, and efficient. I moved from a house to a storage. They accurately assessed the size of storage unit that I needed as well. I am very happy with them and will be using them again to move from storage to my new house!

I was told that the movers would call me en route and it would be between 12 and 4. I was called around 10:30 and they stated that they had finished early,and could go ahead and come by. That was fantastic as I needed to clean the apartment after everything was moved and earlier was certainly better. I had several items being moved out of my apartment, as well as 3 large appliances in storage across town. They were able to get everything loaded, moved, and setup within the first 2 hours! These guys rock, and I highly recommend them!

First, I'd like to express my appreciation to Brown Box for the work they do for the veteran. I was extremely impressed by the professionalism that was extended to me and my daughter by the young men that assisted in my move. They were prompt, organized and mission orientated. Special care was taken when packing my fragile boxes. No damage to the residence. These young men are definitely an assess to your company.

We have used Brown Box Movers on 2 occasions now, the first being an entire office relocation and most recently delivery of a new reception station from Carrollton to Denton. Brown Box was great both times, we received a courtesy call when they were about 30 minutes out with our reception desk which gave us time to move the old one, and when they arrived it only took the guys about 5 minutes to move in the extremely heavy desk parts. They have been courteous, fast, friendly, and great with details and follow up each time. Their prices compared to other places in town are always lower and far more reasonable as well. Definitely recommend these guys!

For the second time in a year, I hired Brown Box Movers from my home in Louisville, KY to help move my daughter who lives in the Denton/Aubrey area. They were so easy to work with, showed up when they said they would and worked quickly to help me keep costs down. They are professional and took care with every box and piece of furniture they moved. I would recommend them without hesitation!

I had two guys move me and they were super fast. They moved my stuff out in 30 minutes. The longest thing was the drive but they couldn't help that. They were fast and made sure that everything was protected.

I will only use Brown Box Movers for any move going forward!! They were so friendly and efficient from the first phone call to the last piece of furniture being unloaded! They called me the day before to see if an earlier arrival time would be okay. The day of, the guys called me to see if I was ready because it was a little earlier than expected. All expectations and policies were very well explained prior to the start. The level of professionalism is off the charts! I moved from a one bedroom apartment on the first floor to the same thing about 10 miles down the road - they completed everything in under two hours and delivered everything in tact! They have the best prices and outstanding customer service. I highly recommend using Brown Box Movers!!!

These guys are wonderful. They moved us nearly 200 miles yesterday and did it so quickly. Thank you Gary and all the other Brown Box movers. You were an answer to prayer for us. they were all very polite and positive, as well. This was one of the easiest moves we have every had.

I appreciated the scheduling, the advance phone call, the timeliness of the two movers - Vonte and Jerry. Jerry was very rough on our boxes and furniture both loading and unloading. I have moved across the nation and have not experienced the quality and professionalism that Brown Box Movers showed to me and my family. Wayne and his team really took care of our move including piano, and Subzero fridge. To top it off we scheduled the entire move in 4 days. I will definitely be using them again. With two daughters and a dog the team keep my household peaceful and enjoyable.

These guys are friendly, quick, and professional! This was our second move with Brown Box and we will be using them for our third! It's obvious that this company cares about their clients: from Lindsey talking to me on the phone countless times throughout the time we booked to the patient movers who were still in a friendly, great mood after moving us from Houston to the Colony (12++ hours). Cannot say enough great things. Great and hard working company.

Everything from the first encounter was smooth and worry free. Booking was easy and quick, the movers showed up on time and they got us moved into storage in no time. The movers were very friendly and did an excellent job utilizing our storage space. We will be booking them to move us into our home as soon as it's finished!

Prior to move day, Lindsey answered my questions/E-Mails promptly. Day of move, they arrived right on time - cheerful, friendly, professional, and ready to work. All my items were delivered without a scratch, ding, or dent. And it was done swiftly and efficiently. I would highly recommend these folks to anyone with an upcoming move.

The guys that moved my stuff were great. They were very helpful, and did everything in a very timely manner. They were also very polite.

This was my second time hiring movers and the difference between Brown Box and the other company was obvious. Brown Box was lisenced and uniformed and really took care of my items while moving. None of my items were damaged or broken and they lived up to the title of professional movers. They were slightly more expensive ($10 more per hour) but WORTH IT. I would definitely use them again in the future and I would recommend them to friends.

Everyone I came in contact with for the company, from Lindsey giving me the quote and scheduling the move to the movers themselves were great! Very friendly and helpful. I was really impressed when they even helped me get some boxes into my car and even helped me when my cat was trying to escape the apartment and his crate. In addition to the great personalities all of my furniture and boxes remained unscratched and undamaged and they moved my stuff in and out very quickly. A big plus was that I did not have to unpack my dresser or night stand, since they wrap those pieces of furniture. I would recommend them to anyone moving in the North Texas/Denton area!

We had a Great experience- showed up on time, took great care, and made sure everything was where it needed to be- Will recomend these folks for any local move need! They Packed, loaded, unloaded and had Bed up, house functional while being very curteous! Great group to work with.

I had team come out before and was pleased to use them again. All the fellows were congenial and polite.

Great price; able to schedule me in short order; and, had me all moved within two hours and fifteen minutes of arrival. The guys were moving pretty quickly, and had to make it up three flights of stairs, so there were one or two mishaps, but no damage done. If you are super picky and need things moved just so, you may want to ensure you book more time and/or ask for more bodies. I was thoroughly satisfied with the service, however, from initial contact to movers.
